 An icon dressed all black and sporting a plague mask, meet Gothica, a superhero the world was in desperate need of. Her appearance might make you think she’s a villain, but that’s only part of her agenda. Her superpower is her speech; she can manipulate minds to perform what she wants them to use. But her moral alignment helps all from desperate to needy. She also serves as the icon for inclusivity of every person, no matter what their interest, style, or inclination is. She believes every person is human and should be treated with respect and provided with justice no matter what. In fact, her costume aims to break stereotypes.

Often showing up in courts and police stations uncalled for, she takes the case into her hands and makes a sure point to deliver justice, no matter how difficult or hidden the case is. She is a god-like detective, beating every other mastermind with her incredibly high IQ.

Gothica brims with perseverance, in fact, a little too much of it, making it her tragic flaw. Once she gets her hands on a case, she does not stop, even if it puts her life in danger. Many times, she escaped death by a margin as narrow as an atom. No wonder, she’s revered as the God-like detective.

In sticky situations, she is the mastermind Gothica, but when her hands are free, she is Rita Simons, a freelance photo-journalist. Her photo-journalism is also legendary, where she focuses on shedding light on the unfortunate and wronged persons.

But her drive and motive are the results of her tumultuous high school days. She was treated as a social outcast due to her love for everything goth. She was deemed the school freak, for her gothic style and high IQ, two of which do not mix by stereotype. She got bullied so often and with such brutality, she almost lost her life a few times. But no one tried to help her; everyone blamed her for being different and attracting trouble.

As Rita, she is in high demand by news outlets, publishers, newspapers, and magazines. Everyone wants a renowned journalist like her to work with them. As Gothica, she is the superhero respected and feared by the public. No one wants to get on her wrong side, for everyone has got skeletons in their closets.

Everyone applauds her for the justice she brings, except Corpota, her nemesis. Corpota is the cause of corruption in society. Infecting minds in industries to the ones in parliaments, Corpota aims to burn the world down with their discorded thoughts and ideas. Gothica aims to bring an end to her nemesis and revel in a peaceful, justice-filled world.

Her logo is simple and recognizable, inspired by a plague mask. While she is always on the scene much in advance, reaching out to her with this logo is simple. Just opening the Gothica picture and asking for help does the trick.
